"Dwarf spiders" is de verzamelnaam voor alle kleine zwarte spinnetjes die over de koer en in het gras en op de muren lopen.
Zelfs een leek kan zien dat er heel veel verschillende beestjes zijn, maar om er dan nog een naam op te plakken is praktisch onmogelijk: ze zijn allemaal namelijk klein, en, euh, zwart. Een bloemlezing:

Not sure if this is one of those dwarf spiders. Well, actually, I suppose by definition it is: small, black, and unidentifiable. The whole garden is absolutely replete with them, onc you start looking. The images above actually show them in not very typical positions: most of the time you'll find them hanging upside down in messy cobwebs just a couple of millimeters above the grouund:
